"Learn4Life!" Grade Seven learners take part in writing workshop
Masifunde believes in providing a learning space where the youth of Walmer Township can develop skills that they can use to improve their academic and social lives and writing is one such activity that develops both simultaneously. This is the very reason why a comprehensive writing workshop was put together for the grade seven “Learn4life!” group on Saturday morning.

Masifunde Fundraising Day
On 18 July Nelson Mandela celebrated his 92nd birthday and the whole of South Africa was encouraged to spend 67 minutes doing good for their communities. Masifunde took this call to heart, and decided what better way to do good for the community than to raise funds for the building of the Lavel’ Ilanga Educational Centre giving the children of Walmer Township a place where they can learn.
